An athletic person, Gina enjoys a variety of sports such
as Netball, Hockey and Fencing. She swam competitively
in her youth and has taken part in the ‘Race For Life’
in London for the past four years. She is also a blue
belt in Taekwondo. In her spare time Gina enjoys
listening to reggae music, playing the cello and her
favourite book is To have or to be? by Erich
Fromm.
Since her return from the Miss World Competition, Gina
has been absorbed in charity work with the four
charities that she adopted during the Miss Jamaica
Competition. These are STEP (School for the Therapy,
Education and Parenting for Children with various
Disabilities); McCam Child Care Centre, St. Patrick’s
Foundation and the Jamaica School for the Deaf. She is
also a well sought after Public and Motivational
Speaker.
